I wouldn't have thought finding a simple, solid raincoat with flannel lining and deep pockets would be like a holy grail quest! When I came across the Ultimate Waterproof Raincoat it looked promising & I can tell you, it has totally delivered. Just went out in windy, icy sleet and stayed warm & dry throughout. This is my go-to raincoat now! [Coat in photo is size XL -- I wanted it kind of roomy with plenty of room for a sweater underneath, I'm 6' & medium build]

Just received my jacket and to say Im impressed is an understatement! Been shopping around for a new fishing jacket, but seems to me if you want good quality and functionality you’re gonna break the bank! but not here! This jacket has all the features of a high end water proof fishing jacket! From the fleece lining, rubberized couple inches around the wrist (so it doesn’t soak up water), magnets on the zipper and waste synch system! Not to mention how comfortable it is and looks awesome! I am 6’3 and weigh 200lbs. The size L fits like a glove! Can’t wait to put this jacket through the wringer and see how it holds up!

6'2" & 230 lbs, I got an XL . Material & construction is very good, but the cut is way too tight, so tight I can't bend my arm sufficiently to touch forearm to bicep. You need to change the cut from skinny-hipster style cut to work-clothing style cut, to allow freedom of movement during casting.

Im usually an XL depending on the brand. I bought a 2XL Just in case I wanted to wear extra layers. I’m 5’9 220lbs and I can say that the jacket fits true to size. The 2XL sleeves were a little long for me. So far the jacket is pretty warm and went in some light rain. Haven’t tried to test in cold cold weather yet but so far so good better than my north face

So I ordered this in late August when it was still 70 degrees here in Maine. I had ordered several articles of clothing from Matts before and never had a problem. So I did not try this jacket on until late October. When I put my arm in the right sleeve it felt bunched up but I was able to force my arm through. The whole time the right sleeve felt very tight. After completing my task I turned the jacket inside out. It appears at the factor the inner material and outer material were not lined up causing a twist in the fabric, picture included, I realized it was past the 30 day return but I contacted Fisherman's Life and informed them of the defect and asked for an exchange since I really like the jacket other than the factory defect. It has been over a week and I have not received a reply. I don't expect a refund and I am assuming the exchange is out of the question, but a return e-mail indicating this would have been nice!! This has left a very sour taste in my mouth so unfortunately I am through with Fisherman's Life. I want nothing to do with any of their products, if someone would like to have these and willing to pay for shipping you can have them. The thermal rain pants and defective jacket, quarter zip pull over fleece, windbreaker/rain jacket, three fishing long sleeve shirts, all are XL. I also have a hat and travel mug. I ordered large size and received the package in excellent condition. I was surprised by the weight of this rain jacket and love the fleece lined interior and added magnets for extra protection from the cold weather. The sleeves measured 4 inches longer than i expected and . i will have to make some adjustments to correct for the sleeve length. Overall, i really like this waterproof rain jacket for ultimate protection for the elements. :)

I was actually surprised at how heavy it was. I was thinking, maybe waterproof windbreaker but it’s a serious jacket you’ll love it in cold weather!

Just received my Ultimate waterproof rain jacket. Feels great!. I am 5' 8" and 160-165 lbs and ordered a small, fits perfectly. Unfortunately, I live in deep South Texas and still having 100+ degree weather, needless to said, it will be a while before I get to use it. Thanks for the great jacket.

Will keep you warm and dry. Pretty heavy duty with liner etc. I got an extra large to wear what I want under it but after putting it on it is very warm by itself. Definitley made for Winter.

Great material. Keeps me warm. Fits well. I use it while surf fishing. The only thing I could suggest to make it better would be to line the inside-bottom of the jacket with the same water proof material - about 6 inches from the bottom up. When I wear this over my waders and wade deeper in the surf, the inside of the fleece also gets wet when a larger waves bump up against me.

Very well made jacket.The fleece inner lining is a big plus when ypu put it on you can definitely feel the weight which means it will keep you warm on them cold costal days out on the water. The sleeves were a little long on me as most jackets are. A velcro sleeve adjuster would have worked out great to also keep water from running past your wrist. All in All this is a solid jacket for the elements.
