This was my first time trying Slow Pitch Jigging. I bought two of Matt's jigs that have UV finish to them, and was not surprised that they both landed fish. It took me a while to get the hang of the Slow Pitch jigging technique, and a 2nd trip with better gear to take advantage of how well the jigs performed. I will have to pick up the other colors and sizes to compare, but I have no doubt that they will do as well. Great products.

Perfect for lingcod and rockfish! I love how there are multiple weights, really covers all the depths you want to fish. Black/Red so far has produced the best results along with gold rock coming in 2nd. Either way you can't go wrong!

As far as first impression - the jigs appear to be quite nice and they do look good, well designed and made. Used these in 350 ft water in Monterey. Nonstop action. Others on the boat not using (they had frozen bait) had zero action. Pulled up by far the biggest ling I've seen (guessing a 20#+), but the gaff man blew his assignment. Ah well, at least I know these jigs work!
