For this, the hooks are high quality. I’ve also had jigs get scraped really easy on the rocks and the paint chips fast. These surprisingly take a few trips to start to chip. Hopefully you can buy at the fair to get deals!!

This 20g Jiggy Jig is perfect when casting out on the windy surf for stripers whether jigged or bouncing it on the sandy bottom at OB D.C. Also, they're great during recent striper boils at lake del valle and los vaqueros. I can reach the boils at del valle which are at the opposite side of lake with any of my custom tuned Abus! Going to get a couple more jigs in 20g/30g in all varieties of colors to match the hatch!

all of these Fishermans life jigs work great from the heavier 4 ounce to the lightweight jiggy jigs. I recently purchased a couple 3 ounce ones and then quite a few of the lighter ones. These jigs have great action, great colors and a lot of flash and reflection in the water. They also come with good stinger hooks. I’ve gotten some pretty big lingcod and have not had them bend out, I almost forgot to mention these jigs are way cheaper than the big namebrands and work just as good.

50G Chrome Flash for the win!! Absolutely decimated the fish, 10x over the guys using bait. Was using an 8 1/2 medium heavy rod with a 5000 spinning reel and just bopped this thing off the rocks and crushed. Cod, Halibut, rockfish all day.

I like the quality of the products at Fishermanslife.net and the videos on youtube. My buddy and I fish the rocky shores around the Monterey, Santa Cruz coastline. We use the bobber, these lures, looking at the new ones too. I recently bought the 9'-4" travel no excuses surf rod. Really like the case that comes with it to protect guides in the back of the pickup. Bought the glow in the dark deep sea jigs awhile back, cant wait to use them.
