Some people dislike 4-piece rods, but I don’t mind. No issues for me and it can handle good lure weight.
Plus, the color scheme is a bonus.
When I’m out with the family, I can toss the rod case in the trunk so it doesn’t take up much space.
I love it.

I bought the 9' 4" 4 piece surf rod for my wife as she needed a new pole. The pole comes in a nice hard case keeping the guides from being damaged. Speaking of the guides, they are robust and should last for a long time to come. The pole goes together easily and even with hard casts, the parts stay put. Way better than a collapsible pole. The cork grips are a nice touch as well. The pole is sturdy. her first fish on it was a nice 25 inch blue catfish. The pole handled it like a champ. Now I have to buy one of these for myself after seeing how it performed.

Like the convenience of a travel rod and the power and size of a inshore and surf rod
I have both the 8 and 9’4”
Wish there was a reel to match

I paired this with a penn 4000 and its unstoppable. Mainly using it for Jetty fishing and the portability is great. Really no excuse not to pack it with you on road trips.

Feels good like the 8”
